The houses in this book are located in a very specific territory. It is the extreme southwest of Europe, perhaps the most peripheral and distant part of the continent.
Whoever lives and works here seems to do so by choice, aware of the extreme situation of the region. It is a place that opens to the sea in a condition of extreme land and frontier, in which the ocean is offered inviting the unknown.
It is with this sense of exploitation of limits, in multiple senses, that the houses of MM are offered to the senses. The visual radicality, the careful inner-outer separation and the extreme exploration of the resistance of the structures are just some of those situations
